MESA, Ariz. (AP) – The Cubs wrapped up a $1 million, 1 year agreement with reducer Brandon Workman on Thursday.
The 32-year-old right-hander can gain an added $2 million in perks.
Workman had a hard time in 2015, going 1-4 with a 5.95 PERIOD and also 9 conserves in 21 looks for Boston and also Philly. He was traded from the Red Sox to the Phillies in August.
However Workman was great in 2019 with Boston, going 10-1 with a 1.88 PERIOD in 73 looks. He is 25-20 with a 3.89 PERIOD in 209 job video games.
